God does not want people perish because of sin, for it is God Himself came to earth in human form to replace a human death to bear the sins by dying on the cross to take away the sin of mankind who believe in God to eternal life in Jesus (John 1: 1-18) .
Jesus was born when Herod ruled in Judea (Matthew 2: 1), to learn the news of birth / arrival of the Messiah, the angry King Herod as the news of the birth of the Messiah is a threat to Herod because the Messiah has been determined by the books of the pulse as a king on the people of God, so that Herod ordered to kill all the firstborn male child throughout Judea so that children firstborn male aged 2 years and under were killed (Matthew 2: 16-18).
